沼氣預處理系統描述厭氧發酵沼氣是現代污水處理廠、酒精廠、養殖場正常生產的附屬生成物。其主要成分為50～65%的甲烷與30～50%的二氧化碳，同時還含有水蒸氣、硫化物、氮化物等上百種成分，其中甲烷是主要的溫室效應污染物之一。沼氣不僅會污染環境而且也會產生嚴重的安全隱患，因此需要對厭氧沼氣進行集中處理。

Biogas pretreatment system describes that anaerobic fermentation biogas is a subsidiary product of normal production in modern wastewater treatment plants, alcohol plants and farms. 而以上的工廠一般都是耗電大戶，將正常生產產生的沼氣集中收集用于發電，不僅能提高資源的利用率，同時也可以減少對市電的依賴。因此對于產氣量較大的污水處理廠、酒精廠、養殖場，可以采用沼氣熱電聯產工藝。沼氣預處理系統是沼氣發電工程中的一個重要設備，該系統不僅用于實現對沼氣的脫水、脫硫、穩壓、去除雜質、安全保護等功能，同時還是沼氣厭氧反應罐與發電機組之間的燃氣輸送橋梁。
